The majority of the scrapbook concentrates on Dizzy Dean. The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, newspaper cartoons, newspaper photos, magazine photos, game accounts, and box scores. While most articles are concerned with Dean and his teamates, All-Star Games and World Series' articles appear (especially 1938, where Dean's Cubs played the New York Yankees). Items of note include: 4 ticket stubs to Wrigley Field from July 4, 1935; August 5, 1936 and October 1, 1937 which is a "Lady Only" ticket, and Dizzy Dean autograph on a note sent to the author.
